Welcome to Tuesday!
I am budding web developer who will be using this blog to document my journey in becoming a professional. I will be making weekly posts every Tuesday evening about things I am working on. I have a couple of mini projects that I will be working on throughout September and beyond. I will be posting updates on these projects as I make progress. You can see the list of projects bellow.Upcoming Projects
Old Website Redesign
I will be taking an old business website that I developed for Beauty Voyage Salon and Spa and updating it to fit modern standards. The original website was built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in 2009.Unit Converter
This will be a single page unit converting web application. The page will be fully responsive and take advantage of HTML5 application caching. Application caching will allow the page to be usable even when offline.D3.js Mini Project
Originally this was a project that I started as part of an interview process for a junior web developer position. I want to take it a bit further and make some improvements to what I have done. I also want to explore a couple of data visualization options using new data that I did not have at the time.Other Things
Other than project updates I will also have a few goals for the month. I will have a separate post for these goals at the start and end of the month. The first such post will go up on September 1.I will also be making sporadic posts with regards to things not related to my web development journey. These unrelated posts will be labeled for easy filtering.
